But Firefox, the last of the big three Mac browsers, has long struggled to display PDFs, forcing users to download PDF files and read them in Preview or Adobe Reader. Chrome, Google’s increasingly popular Web browser, also now includes native support for PDF. The Mac enjoys Web-based PDF support out of the box Safari has natively rendered PDFs for many years.
